Venkatesh Sivaraman

Hi! 👋🏾 I'm Venkat, a PhD student at the Carnegie Mellon University Human-Computer Interaction Institute. Advised by Adam Perer, I study how trained experts use artificial intelligence (AI) to guide their decision-making, and use that knowledge to improve how we build and present AI predictions. I'm particularly interested in applications of AI in health care, where complementarity between human and AI capabilities is crucial to helping improve people's lives.

I have recently been focused on tools for model developers and clinicians, as well as tools to help build beautiful data visualizations (see more projects):
